Since 1982, REMAR has been passionate about doing good, for the love of God and neighbor.

REMAR SOS was founded in 2010 as the crisis response arm of the organization. We respond to dire emergencies around the world, whether prompted by natural disaster or armed conflict, and provide humanitarian aid to meet basic needs. Our responsive programs adapt to the needs of the region, but typically include food and water services, provision of shelter and basic necessities, and medical assistance. Mirroring the values of REMAR, REMAR SOS is committed to excellence, transparency, and responsibility. We move from a place of love and empathy towards all of humankind. Our goal is to provide sustainable aid to regions in crisis, equipping communities to heal and thrive long after projects are completed.

For as long as humans continue to suffer, our vision is to see that suffering met with hope and compassion. When disaster strikes, we seek to mobilize service-minded members of the international community to respond to the greatest needs. Food, water, medical assistance, basic necessities, social programs, the repair and rebuilding of shelter— all of these programs seek to provide practical and actionable aid to those in crisis. At the heart of these tangible actions, we seek to foster the hope that is necessary for people to endure the most difficult of circumstances.
