About Other Help Responce
At Remar SOS, we believe in being responsive to the specific needs of individuals with whom we are in constant contact, even if those needs fall outside our core assistance programs. It’s similar to having a conversation or friendship with someone and discovering their personal needs, and choosing to respond.
One of our ongoing areas of support is a nursing home located in Pidhirya, a town near Lviv, Ukraine. While it may not be our primary program, we, along with our dedicated volunteers, invest our time in these elderly individuals. Our aim is to combat loneliness and despair that often afflict older people. In addition to providing essential supplies, we spend precious moments with them, singing and celebrating life together.
Our dedication to these individuals extends beyond material assistance. We believe in nurturing their emotional well-being and fostering a sense of companionship. Through our visits, we bring joy, laughter, and a reminder that they are valued and cherished members of society.
By actively engaging with the elderly residents of the nursing home, we aim to create an uplifting and supportive environment that brings comfort and happiness to their lives. Our commitment to holistic care drives us to address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Through our “Other Help Response” initiative, we continuously adapt and respond to the evolving needs of those we serve. We strive to make a positive impact in every aspect of their lives, fostering a sense of belonging and compassion that transcends our core programs.

Kids Program
We strongly engage kids in activities and different games. In Lviv, Ukraine kids had a possibility to draw, play and bounce on trampoline. In Chernivtsi, our volunteers taught kids how to weave beads and make keychains.

Providing assistance to refugees stands as one of the practical solutions embodied by our programs.
