Woman Care

What does it actually looks like ?

In every location where Remar SOS operates, women play an integral part.

Our mission extends to providing women with all the necessary things to take care of their hygiene, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It began by assisting internally displaced persons, sheltering them in houses in the Polish city of Rzeszów and Suceava in Romania. We supplied personal hygiene sets and facilitated connect groups for building relationships and fostering a sense of community.

In Rivne and Turkey, we expanded our efforts to include trauma counseling sessions conducted by professional therapists. Women could register for therapy sessions to seek help and share their traumas with specialists.

At Remar SOS, we are deeply committed to promoting gender equality and addressing the unique challenges women face during times of crisis. Women play a vital role in every location where we operate, including single women, widows, single mothers, young women, and the elderly. Each woman receives individualized support and tailored assistance.

Our dedicated volunteers organize weekly women’s meetings in small groups, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where women can openly share their experiences, concerns, and joys. These gatherings foster comfort, connection, and a sense of belonging.

Within these intimate sessions, we actively engage with each woman’s personal journey and provide compassionate support. We also extend care to young women in foster families or those who have faced the consequences of an unhealthy upbringing.

We believe in nurturing and uplifting every woman, treating them with love and care. Our women volunteers offer unwavering support, reminding others that they are not alone in their struggles.

Through the embracing and acceptance found within the micro-community of Remar SOS, countless women and mothers have discovered renewed identities, regained self-worth, and become empowered to extend love and support to others.

Our women’s groups serve as platforms for personal growth and provide a welcoming space for heartfelt conversations, creating an atmosphere of warmth, solidarity, and sisterhood. Throughout our work, we embrace the values of compassion, kindness, and the importance of a shared faith, inspiring hope and spiritual strength for all those we serve.
